About GO-EV
Established in 2018, GO-EV (Western France Extracellular Vesicles Network) has emerged as a network dedicated to promoting and facilitating the exchange of information and technologies around extracellular vesicles. Made up of institutions, technical core facilities and passionate scientists, the network positions itself as an interdisciplinary player, bringing together diverse skills.
Based in the Bretagne and Pays de la Loire regions, with a notable presence in Nantes, Angers and Rennes, GO-EV explores extracellular vesicles (EVs) in contexts as diverse as they are varied. This multidisciplinary approach enriches our understanding of EVs in all their facets, opening up new research perspectives.
Our missions at GO-EV
The mission of GO-EV (Western France Extracellular Vesicle Network) is to strengthen research on extracellular vesicles (EVs) by creating a bi-regional vision. We share research capacities through strong interdisciplinary and inter-laboratory collaboration, including Biogenouest core facilities. GO-EV aspires to create a dense research space on extracellular vesicles in the Bretagne and Pays de la Loire regions, by exploiting the complementarity of the teams' expertise and the technological potential of Biogenouest core facilities. The GO-EV network is also committed to promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and facilitating cutting-edge research in the Western France, by highlighting the latest generation technologies available in the region.
Our values at GO-EV
Ethics : GO-EV places ethics at the heart of its research, guiding each step with moral responsibility. Integrity and compliance with ethical standards are prioritized, ensuring a positive contribution to society and responsible research.
Transparency: Transparency is the cornerstone of GO-EV, defining its approach to open communication. Every action, decision and outcome is communicated with clarity, building trust and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
Sharing: GO-EV embraces sharing as an engine for collaboration and information exchange. Knowledge and discoveries are disseminated widely, stimulating collective growth, diversity of ideas and favoring an environment in which continuous learning is encouraged.
Quality: Quality defines GO-EV's commitment to excellence. Every search, every interaction and every process is held to rigorous standards. In this way we guarantee reliable and meaningful results. This constant quest for quality reinforces the credibility of the network.
Resilience : In the face of challenges, GO-EV cultivates resilience, strengthening its determination to move forward. Obstacles are then perceived as learning opportunities. In this way, we stimulate continuous adaptation.
Geographical area
The GO-EV network is the first regional network dedicated to extracellular vesicles in France, and it is also the largest in terms of members. It brings together research laboratories, technical core facilities and institutions spread across two key regions: Pays de la Loire and Bretagne.
In the Pays de la Loire, members are concentrated around the cities of Nantes, Saint-Nazaire and Angers. In Bretagne, collaborations extend to the cities of Rennes and Brest. These two regions actively participate in the financing of the network, thus supporting the development of collaborative projects around extracellular vesicles and encouraging innovation in this rapidly expanding scientific field.
Dissemination and sharing of knowledge
The GO-EV network is actively engaged in the dissemination and sharing of knowledge around extracellular vesicles (EVs), a rapidly expanding field of research. Through the organization of seminars, conferences, workshops and webinars, the network allows researchers, students and professionals from different sectors to meet, exchange and create fruitful collaborations. These events are an opportunity to discover the latest scientific advances, address technical issues and share experiences between laboratories, core facilities and companies.
In addition to these meetings, GO-EV regularly publishes informative and educational content, aiming to make EV science accessible to a wider audience. The network also supports science outreach initiatives, thus raising awareness among the general public of the many applications of EVs, whether for biomedical research, diagnostics or the development of new therapies.
By encouraging cooperation between its members and facilitating access to quality scientific resources, GO-EV plays an essential role in the development and promotion of research on EVs, thus contributing to the construction of a dynamic and innovative scientific community.
