The IMBA organizes the International Conferences on Marine Biotechnology (IMBC). IMBCs are widely recognized as the premier marine biotechnology conference in the world, bringing together world leaders in the field since 1989. With extensive support from the private and public sectors, this meeting is hailed by international scientists.

The 13th IMBC will be held in Brest (France) in August 2022.
