On March 12 and 13, 2026, the players in innovation in Life Sciences and the Environment met at the Jean Monnier Congress Centre in Angers for the 16th edition of the Gen2Bio congress.

Sandra Camus, Vice-President for Research at the Université d'Angers, opened the Gen2Bio 2026 congress, as President of the GIS Biogenouest in 2026.

Rémy Pedeux, president of the Scientific Council of Biogenouest, also spoke in the introduction to this 16th edition of the congress.

The Federal Research Structure Quasav (Quality and Health of Plants), a partner of this 2026 edition, was then presented by its director Fabrice Foucher.
